I really like how this one turned out. I LOVE the Spice Cake DSP I cant say that enough! I also liked the color combo on this one with the pool party as an accent color. Great stamp set too out of the current Holiday Mini catalog.

I made this cute Kimono card and matching tea bag holder for an upcoming birthday this month. The cute Kimono card is based off of a card over at DOstamping with Dawn and the tea holder is based off a project we made that was created by a good friend of mine, Sherry who is a very talented stamper! The papers are Stampin'Up! but they are retired, just thought they were a nice pattern and color for a Kimono. The grosgrain ribbon is in More Mustard.

This is my lovely aunt Debbie, she passed away a few years ago from cancer and is dearly missed by many. I made this page for a room my mom has decorated with butterflies and the color purple (similar to the Perfect Plum cardstock). Debbie loved butterflies and the color purple.

I used the Beautiful Wings Embosslit (LOVE IT) and Perfect Plum cardstock. The floral paper is printed from MDS in Certainly Celery. I am loving that I can print papers I dont have on hand with MDS! Very handy!

The photo does not show the exact colors of the page, but you get the idea.

I used the Bold Blossom stamp set and the Really Retro sentiments stamp set on this cute card I stamp lifted from the wonderful Julie Davison. I changed it up some but really did like her color choices and DSP she used on her original card.

Low Carb, no sugar coleslaw

I love this coleslaw! You dont even know its low carb and no sugar! I replace the sugar that you would normally put in with my new favorite sweetener that is safe and tastes great, no after taste at all. It is called Xylo Sweet. I order it off Amazon and you can get a big bag of it as well as in packets for a pretty good price. Of course it does cost more than real sugar, but it is worth it to me to replace in things you would normally use sugar in.

Low Carb and no sugar Coleslaw

Ingredients:

Bag of coleslaw mix
1/4 cup Olive oil mayonnaise
3 TBSP sour cream
1 tsp yellow mustard
2 TBSP heavy cream
1 1/2 TBSP cider vinegar ( or to your taste preference)
2 packets Xylo Sweet
Dash or 2 of celery salt (or to your taste preference)

Directions:

Mix mayo, sour cream, mustard, cider vinegar, Xylo Sweet, celery salt and heavy cream in a large bowl.
Add the coleslaw mix.
Chill for at least an hour or more before serving

NOTE: Tastes even better if you chill for several hours or over night. I love to make it the early in the day or the night before.

This is a card I made for a friend of mines family. We lost my friend last week and she will be deeply missed by me and so many others who knew her. She was a very sweet lady who fought cancer for the last 6 years and is now in heaven with God. Please pray for her family during this difficult time in their lives.

I saw a card made by Dawn on her blog DOstamping, hers was stamped and I made mine with My Digital Studio for the floral branch and sentiment. I also used SU's Sahara Sand, Whipser White and Rose Red cardstock. I used Rose Red ink with a texture plate for the banner and edged it with the Scallop Trim Border punch. Rose Red grosgrain ribbon, oval and scallop punch.

Mexican Lasagna

Ingredients:

1 lb hamburger
1 package taco season
1 can refried beans
9 uncooked lasagna noodles
2 cups salsa
2 cups water
16 0z sour cream
1 can chopped olives
1-2 cups Mexican shredded cheese blend

Instructions:
Brown hamburger and add refried beans and taco season. Put 3 noodles in bottom of 13 x 9 casserole dish sprayed with cooking spray. Spread half of meat mixture and top with 3 more noodles, then meat and 3 more noodles. Mix water and salsa together and pour over the top. Cover in cook for 60-70 minutes on 350. Remove from oven and add sour cream, olives and cheese and put back in oven until cheese is melted. Enjoy!
